VOLUNTEERING

One very special aspect of daily life is the presence of volunteers. It is volunteers who founded the Louis Brier Home and Hospital 60 years ago, and volunteers continue to be an intrinsic part of the culture at the Campus. From toddlers to seniors, volunteers come from many different backgrounds, and they all contribute their time, skills, caring and companionship. Working with staff in the Recreation and Rehabilitation departments, they provide an invaluable service to the social, emotional and spiritual well being of the residents of the Snider Campus. In turn, volunteers can meet their own needs and goals of skill and professional development, expanding social networks, and making a significant contribution to the community.

New volunteers are always welcome!
