Auxiliary

The Auxiliary to the Louis Brier Home and Hospital is comprised of a small group of dedicated, hard-working women who meet once a month to plan two fundraisers. These fundraisers are the annual Mother’s Day Tea and the Fall Tea.  These two events enable the Auxiliary to spend approximately $15,000 each year on Louis Brier Wish List items that are used for the comfort of the residents.  Along with our two Teas, we also provide welcome bags to all new residents and, each Chanukah and Purim, we provide entertainment for their holiday parties.  Members of the community can support the Auxiliary and our residents by attending the Teas, and by purchasing a leaf on our Tree of Life, situated in the Louis Brier lobby.  The Auxiliary is an integral part of the Louis Brier and very important to our residents.  The Auxiliary is in need of some young members and, if you are interested in joining, please contact Dolly Kopelow, Membership Chairperson, at 604-738-2822.
